Instructions: Choose a tab below for the region you want to practice. Click the
"Choose a Name" box in the upper-right corner to open the list of names — then drag a name
out of the list and onto the matching country or state on the map (the list closes automatically once
you start dragging, so it won't block your view). While dragging, your mouse cursor will show a
⊘ no-drop circle if you are over the wrong location — keep moving
until the cursor changes and the shape highlights green, which means you're over the correct one and may
release to drop it. Correctly placed names appear in bold red text directly on the map. Use the
Reset button to clear a map and try again, or Cheat - Show All to reveal every answer. Use
the search box in the top right to jump straight to any country or state and have it highlighted.
Right-click (or long-press on touch devices) any country or state that already has a name
on it to look it up on Lonely Planet, Wikipedia, or DuckDuckGo — a great way to learn more about
the places you've just found. On a phone or tablet: tap a name in the list instead of dragging it,
then tap its location on the map to place it.
